By poll: Shivakumar, Nikhil descend on Channapatna

Ramanagara, NT Bureau: Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and JD(S) Karnataka Youth Wing president Nikhil Kumaraswamy have come down to Channapatna in anticipation of the Assembly bypoll in the coming days.

However, the Election Commission (EC) hasn’t announced dates for the by-poll yet. Shivakumar, who is also the Karnataka Congress chief, is on a three-day visit to Channapatna.

He is overseeing Janaspandana or “government at your doorstep” programme where he is personally attending to petitioners with a variety of issues that require solutions.
