More Purple line metro services from Majestic

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Bengaluru Metro Rail Cor poration Limited (BMRCL) has announced additional services on the Purple Line, effective from today, Saturday.

The revised timetable will see an increase in the number of trains originating from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station - Majestic, rising from 9 to 15, BMRCL announced in a statement. Of these 15 trains, 10 will run to Pattanduru Agrahara (ITPL), four to Whitefield, and one to Baiyappanahalli. Morning departures from Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Station - Majestic will be at 8:48 am, 8:58 am, 9:08 am, 9:18 am, 9:29 am, 9:39 am, 9:50 am, 10:00 am, 10:11 am, 10:21 am, 10:39 am, 10:50 am, 11:00 am, 11:11 am, and 11:22 am.

Additionally, regular passing trains will maintain a 3.3-minute headway until 10:25 am. To address the high commuter demand, six of the 14 trains currently terminating at Garudacharpalya will be extended to Pattanduru Agrahara (ITPL) and Whitefield.

Passengers boarding at Garudacharpalya will have a subsequent train to Pattanduru Agrahara (ITPL) available within 3.5 minutes. In the evening, the 5-minute headway will begin earlier, starting at 4:20 pm from Baiyappanahalli towards Mysore Road station, instead of the previous 4:40 pm schedule.

The Green Line schedule remains unchanged. BMRCL requests the public to note these changes for a more convenient travel experience.
