Early morning robbery attempt in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Early Sunday morning in Begur, near Westends Heights Apartments, an incident occurred when two individuals on a motorcycle attempted to rob and assault a car driver.

The entire episode was captured on the car’s dash cam, showing the motorcycle blocking the vehicle and the perpetrators threatening and attempting to attack the driver, who managed to escape. The driver, Prabhat Sagar, has lodged a formal complaint with the Bengaluru Police.

Sagar expressed his concerns, noting that this incident is part of a troubling trend and that travelling in Bengaluru during the night and early morning has become increasingly unsafe.

This incident underscores a growing pattern of robberies in Bengaluru, where criminals are blocking cars and targeting drivers, particularly during the quieter early hours of the day
