
Nine two-wheelers, one autorickshaw recovered from habitual offender
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Mahalakshmi Layout police registered a case on April 1 regarding the theft of a two-wheeler parked near Akkamahadevi Park.
The police undertook an investigation and, based on information gathered from reliable sources, took the accused into custody near Kurubarahalli Circle on July 13.
Upon inquiry, and based on the information provided by the accused, one autorickshaw and nine two-wheelers of different models valued at Rs 6.18 lakhs have been recovered.
It was learned that theft cases related to one autorickshaw and three twowheelers were registered under the Mahalakshmi Layout Police Station, one two-wheeler under RMC Yard Police Station, one two-wheeler under Yesvanthapur Police Station, one two-wheeler under Peenya Police Station, one two-wheeler under Govindarajanagar Police Station, one two-wheeler under Vijayanagar Police Station limits, and one two-wheeler under Basaveshwaranagar Police Station limits, in all one autorickshaw and nine two-wheelers. H Krishnamurthy, ACP of Malleswaram Sub-division headed the probe.
