KSRTC unveils two new weekend package tours starting from July 19 and 20

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) is introducing two new weekend package tours to enhance travel experiences for the public. Starting from July 19 and July 20, 2024, these services will cater to different interests and destinations.

Bengaluru to Jog Falls Beginning July 19, KSRTC will offer a new Non-A/C Sleeper package tour from Bengaluru to Jog Falls via Shivamogga and Sagar.

This service will be available on Fridays and Saturdays. The itinerary includes departure from Bengaluru at 10:30 PM, with refreshments provided along the route.

The tour covers major stops such as Varadahalli, Varadamoola, Ikkeri, and Keladi, with a final destination at Jog Falls. Return to Bengaluru is scheduled for the following morning at 5:00 AM.

The ticket fares are Rs 2,300 for adults and Rs 2,800 for children aged 6 to 12 years. Bengaluru to Somanathapura-TalakaduMadhyaranga-Bharachukki-Gaganachukki Starting July 20, KSRTC will also launch an Express package tour covering key attractions like Somanathapura, Talakadu, Madhyaranga, Bharachukki, and Gaganachukki.

This tour will be available on Saturdays and Sundays. It excludes entrance fees, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The journey begins from Bengaluru at 6:30 AM, with stops including Maddur for breakfast, and visits to various temples and scenic spots.

The tour concludes with a return to Bengaluru by 9:00 PM. Ticket fares for this tour are Rs 500 for adults and Rs 350 for children aged 6 to 12 years. Commuters interested in these packages are encouraged to visit the KSRTC websites at www.ksrtc.in and www.ksrtc.karnataka. gov.in for more details.
