Man commits suicide over marital dispute

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A 28-year-old man identified as Gulzar Hussain Choudhary allegedly took his own life by hanging at his residence in Thonachinakuppe village, Nelamangala taluk of Bengaluru Rural district.

Gulzar Hussain Choudhary, originally from Assam, was residing in Nelamang ala for the past few years after marrying Kulsum Begum.

He worked as a driver for a private transport company and had hoped to build a happy life with his wife in their new surroundings. However, tension escalated between the couple.

Sources say Hussain expressed concerns over his wife's attire, makeup and the nature of her phone conversations. The disagreement reportedly led to a heated argument between them.

This conflict culminated in Hussain taking the extreme step of ending his life by hanging at their residence. The incident has shocked the local community and left Hussain's family and friends devastated.

Following the discovery of his body, the Nelamangala Rural Police Station registered a case and initiated investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
