BBMP faces flak over poor state of Pulakeshinagar roads
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The BBMP is under scrutiny for the deteriorating condition of roads in the Pulakeshinagar Assembly constituency, with residents also expressing frustration over ongoing issues of garbage disposal and road maintenance.
A big concern highlighted by residents is the accumulation of garbage, particularly along the footpath of Netaji Road close to Cantonment Railway Station.
This area, known for its heavy pedestrian traffic, has become a blackspot for litter, posing both health risks and aesthetic displeasure.
Maria Hussain, a volunteer of the AAP, voiced her dismay, noting the proximity of the littered footpath to the residence of Minister for Minorities Development, Zamir Ahmed Khan.
"The condition of the footpath is quite shocking and disgusting," she remarked, questioning why the BBMP SWM department has not addressed the issue.
