Water tanker runs over young man visiting friend

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Due to the alleged negligence of a water tanker driver, a young man died tragically on Thursday evening near Thanisandra under Hennur traffic police station.

Ishaan (23) a final-year medical student, had come to Thanisandra on Thursday evening to meet a friend who lived with his family near Manyatha Tech Park. He was walking on the road when he was hit by an oncoming tanker. He fell down and got stuck in the wheel even as the tanker driver unknowingly moved ahead.

Other motorists noticed this and stopped the tanker. By then, Ishaan had died. Visuals of the accident were captured on CCTV cameras leadng to public outrage over the behavior of the tanker driver. A case has been registered at Hennur traffic station.
