Elevated section of Pink Line to be open by Sept next year: BMRCL

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The 21.26 kilometre long Pink Line connecting Kalena Agrahara and Nagawara in the city will be opened in two phases, reports confirmed on Thursday.

Bangalore Metro Rail Cor poration Limited aims to open the elevated section from Kalena Agrahara to Dairy Circle by September next year.

Officials told reporters the underground section will be open by June 2026. The 7.5 km elevated section of the Pink Line features Kalena Agrahara, Hulimavu, IIM-B, JP Nagar 4th Phase, Jayadeva Hospital, Swagath Road Cross, and Dairy Circle. The underground section starts from Lakkasandra and terminates at Nagawara.
