Boy scrapes death after falling on Metro track

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A 4 year old kid on Thursday had played with death as he almost got killed by a moving metro train at the Baiyappanahalli Metro Station on Thursday, the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) revealed on Friday.

While waiting for a train at platform 2 of the station, the boy, playing with his sibling accidently fell into the track at 21.08 pm, the BMRCL stated.

However, the Emergency Track Switch (ETS) was promptly turned on by the Station Controller. Trains approaching the station were told to stop, it is learnt.
