Housewife found dead under mysterious circumstances

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A housewife has been found dead under mysterious circumstances, leading to allegations of dowry murder.

The victim, Tanisha Chaudhary, who married Tarun Chaudhary in 2022, was discovered deceased on August 4 in their home in Adugodi.

According to initial reports, Tanisha’s family was informed by Tarun's relative that she had fallen from the stairs and was rushed to the hospital. However, upon arrival, Tanisha's father, Ganpat Chaudhary, found his daughter’s body.

This prompted her family to raise serious concerns about the circumstances surrounding her death. While Tarun's family has claimed that Tanisha's death was an accident, suggesting she slipped and fell, her family contends that it was not an accidental death but a result of dowry-related violence.

They assert that Tanisha was subjected to dowry harassment and have accused Tarun and seven other family members of being involved in her death. An FIR has been lodged at the Adugodi police station against Tanisha’s husband and his relatives on charges of dowry harassment.

The police are now investigating the case to determine whether Tanisha's death was a suicide, as initially suggested, or if foul play was involved. The investigation will shed light on the true nature of this incident and whether justice can be served for Tanisha.
