Trouble for HDK? DKS claims 50 de-notification cases against him
Mysuru/New Delhi, NT Bureau: Trouble continued to brew for Union Minister for Heavy Industries, Steel and Public Enterprises HD Kumaraswamy as Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar accused him of having 50 cases of de-notification against him.
The allegation comes a day after it came to light that on November 21, the Lokayukta had written to Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot, requesting permission to prosecute Kumaraswamy over illegal mining cases.
A Special Investigation Team (SIT) under Lokayukta had submitted a 218 page report to Gehlot. Shivakumar made the comments during the concluding chapter of the Congress’ ‘Janandolana’ programme in Mysuru on Friday.
“Kumaraswamy claims himself to be ‘Clean Swamy’ but officials have told me that he has 50 cases of de-notification against him. I will expose his corruption. Lokayukta has written to the Governor regarding this, hence Kumaraswamy has taken refuge with the BJP,” he said. Kumaraswamy hit back at Shivakumar, accusing him of corruption while rebutting allegations against him, in New Delhi.
“Beware Shivakumar. I also get material. If we were to out the same, you won’t be able to survive,” Kumaraswamy said.
“That great man, the Deputy CM and the CM said that Kumaraswamy and Devegowda met PM Modi to seek protection. Dear Siddaramaiah and Shivakumar, not once in our lives did we approach anyone and said please save us,'' he added.
