Mysore Palace entry tickets on Whatsapp now

Mysuru, NT Bureau: With just a few days left for the Naada Habba Dasara celebrations which will be held from October 3 to 12 in the cultural capital of the city, the Mysore Palace Board has now introduced Whatsapp tickets to enter the iconic palace without any hassles or standing in long queues to purchase entry tickets.

Visitors can purchase tickets through the government's EDCS Mobile One scheme, available via WhatsApp. By simply texting "AG" to the WhatsApp number 8884160088, tourists can secure their palace viewing tickets.

They can also scan the whatsapp QR code available on its website of Mysore Palace Board both in Kannada/ English - https://mysorepalace.karnataka.gov.in These tickets will be valid for five days, stated Palace Board deputy director T S Subramanya.

Public can visit Mysore Palace from 10 am till 5.30 pm. In view of the Dasara festivities, Mysuru District Hotel Owners Association M Narayanagowda and others submitted a memorandum to the DC on Wednesday at his office to extend the night hours till 1 pm as this would help the city attract tourists, boost tourism, business, the hospitality sector and other activities
