Man stabbed in dispute over woman

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: A tragic incident unfolded on Thursday morning when a 35-year-old man was fatally stabbed following a dispute over a woman.

The attack took place in Cottonpet station limits. The victim, Sharath, 35, a resident of KP Agrahara and a paint factory worker, was attacked by an auto driver who remains unidentified and is currently on the run.

According to the Cottonpet police, Sharath was stabbed after an argument with the auto driver over the behavior of a woman. He succumbed to injuries at Victoria Hospital. The argument worsened after an alleged insult directed at a woman attending a funeral.
