Narayanaswamy: Congress has committed injustice against Dalit community

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Chalavadi Na raya naswa my, has called for the resignation of Dalit leaders and representatives of the Congress party, alleging that the party has committed injustices against the Dalit community with regard to the Muda 'scam.'

Narayanaswamy made these demands during a BJP-led protest at Freedom Park here on Thursday. Addressing the protest, he said: "I am a leader from the backward class, and the CM claims that this is why the BJP is troubling him. But who is the Prime Minister of this country? He is also from a backward class, yet he is not like you," he remarked.

He vowed that the BJP would continue its fight until Siddaramaiah steps down as CM, adding, "We will not rest until the stain of corruption is erased."

Highlighting several issues impacting the Dalit community, including the Valmiki Corporation scam and the MUDA scam, Narayanaswamy argued that the entire state has turned against the CM.

He wondered if it was appropriate for religious leaders to support the Congress party, which he claimed was "burying" the Dalit community.

Former Deputy Chief Minister C.N. Ashwathnarayan backed the call for Siddaramaiah’s resignation, asserting the need to raise awareness against the current government, which he described as corrupt and unresponsive to the needs of the people.
