Two girls murdered, stepfather's role suspected

Bengaluru, NT Bureau: In a gory incident, two girls, aged 15 and 13, were found murdered with a machete in their Kaveri Layout residence near Hebbal here Saturday evening with the police suspecting the involvement of their stepfather.

The stepfather, Sumeet, around 40 years old, is currently on the run. The victims, who were students of classes 9 and 8, had returned home from school before the attack. Their mother, Anitha, was at work at a factory when Sumeet allegedly carried out the crime.
