Mohanlal breaks silence: Don't destroy my industry

Kochi, NT Bureau: Speaking on the Hema Committee report for the first time, veteran actor Mohanlal on August 31 said that he is not part of the “power group” mentioned in the report and the entire Malayalam industry should be held accountable not just AMMA.

Mohanlal quit as president of the Assoociation of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA) earlier this month. He urged everyone to not “destroy the industry.”

"Wrongdoers should be punished if there is evidence against them," the "Kireedam" actor said while referring to the allegations of sexual misconduct and assaults that surfaced against some of the members of the Association.
