Bengaluru to Prayagraj special train to clear Oct, Nov festive rush

North Central Railway (NCR) will operate a special train service between Bengaluru and Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, undertaking seven trips in each direction, starting in October and ending in October.


The purpose of the services is to clear the rush owing to the festive season, which includes celebrations like Dasara and Deepavali. The train will depart Prayagraj at 11:30 pm every Sunday from October 6 to November 17 and reach Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) in the east of Bengaluru at 6:30 pm on the following Tuesdays.


The train will depart SMVT Bengaluru at 7.10 am every Wednesday from October 9 to November 20 and reach Prayagraj at 10:50 pm on the following Thursdays.
The special train will make stops at Krishnarajapuram, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Perambur, Nellore, Ongole, Chirala, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Manchiryala, Bellampalli, Sirpurkaghaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna and Manikpur in both directions.
