Medicover Hospitals inaugurates Rs 120 cr multi-specialty facility in B’luru

NT Correspondent Bengaluru: Medicover Hospitals has launched a new 300-bed, multi-specialty healthcare facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with an investment of Rs 120 crore. The hospital was inaugurated by Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, alongside other prominent leaders. Spread over 2.5 lakh square feet, the hospital offers advanced services across key specialities, including cardiac sciences, orthopaedics, neurosciences, and organ transplant, with facilities such as a Cath lab, 3T MRI, CT scan, and digital X-ray.

Dr Anil Krishna, Chairman and Managing Director of Medicover Hospitals, expressed pride in the expansion into Bengaluru, emphasising patient-centric care and the integration of artificial intelligence for improved diagnostics and personalised treatment. The hospital also includes 100 ICU beds, 45 OPD rooms, and 24/7 trauma and emergency services. The launch marks Medicover's entry into Karnataka, adding to its presence in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The hospital is expected to generate 1,000 jobs and further boost the group’s growth, with plans to establish four to five more hospitals in Bengaluru in the next few years, aiming to surpass a 6,000-bed capacity across India.
