
Police solve major robbery case; over Rs 1.09 crore recovered
Bengaluru, NT Bureau: The Subramanyanagar police have cracked a significant burglary case reported by a resident of Maruti Extension, 3rd Main Road. A complaint was filed on September 23, alleging that the home was burgled on the night of September 21. The family had locked their house and left for the religious destination, Mantralaya. Upon returning on September 22, they found the main door intact but discovered that burglars had entered through a first-floor window by breaking the iron grills.
The thieves looted a cupboard, stealing a considerable amount of diamond and gold jewelry, silver items, and cash. The police quickly registered a case and launched an investigation. On September 23, acting on information from informants, one suspect was arrested near Huliyaaru village in Tumakuru. This suspect provided details about his accomplices. Based on his information, two more suspects were apprehended.
