19 FIRs filed against Union Minister HDK, says Lakshman
Mysuru, NT Bureau: KPCC spokesperson M Lakshmana on Saturday stated that 19 FIRs are pending against Union Minister H D Kumaraswamy. Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, he said that the minister should act responsibly. He also mentioned that over 10 criminal cases have been filed against State BJP President B Y Vijayendra and Opposition leader R Ashok. Vijayendra and his family members have now returned the sites they had obtained in Lottegollahalli survey number land to the BDA.
Furthermore, over 40 criminal cases have been filed against RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna, who had lodged complaints against the Chief Minister and his wife regarding MUDA irregularities. Lakshmana remarked that BJP and JD(S) leaders have no moral right to demand the resignation of the Chief Minister. He also criticized Union Minister Prahalad Joshi for making baseless statements against the Chief Minister. Additionally, he commended JD(S) MLA G T Devegowda for speaking the truth about the state's current political situation during the inauguration of the Dasara festival atop Chamundi Hill on Thursday.
Lakshmana further condemned the Mysuru Police for their poor handling of traffic management. He urged the police to relax traffic restrictions on Devaraj Urs Road, as they are affecting traders' businesses.
