Bengaluru to Rajasthan special train to ease Deepavali rush

NT Correspondent Bengaluru: South Western Railway (SWR) will be running special trains between Bengaluru and Bhagat Ki Kothi near Jodhpur in Rajasthan. The services will begin in the last week of October and end in the first week of November. The stated goal is to ease the rush during Deepavali, which falls on November 2. The train will depart from Sir M Visvesvaraya Terminal (SMVT) Bengaluru at 5:45 pm on October 25 and 30 and reach Bhagat Ki Kothi at 12:45 pm on the third day.

In the return direction, the train will depart from Bhagat Ki Kothi at 5 am on October 28 and November 2 and arrive at SMVT Bengaluru at 11:30 pm on October 29 and November 3 respectively. The train will stop at Banaswadi, Tumakuru, Arsikere, Birur, Davangere, Harihar, Haveri, Hubballi, Dharwad, Londa, Belagavi, Ghatprabha, Miraj, Sangli, Satara, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Pindwara, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Marwar, Pali Marwar and Luni in both directions. SWR has requested Passengers to check train timings on www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in using the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app or dial 139.
