Kumaraswamy predicts return to power by 2028

Mandya, NT Bureau: Union Minister of Steel and Heavy Industries, H.D. Kumaraswamy, predicted on Saturday that the current State Congress government will not last until 2028 and that he will return as Chief Minister with the blessings of the people. Speaking to reporters in Mandya, he stated that the people of the state are already disillusioned with the corruption- ridden Congress government, which he accused of plundering the state's natural resources. "Though I'm not an astrologer to predict my return as Chief Minister, I believe I have a strong chance.

The people appreciated my leadership style during my previous terms as CM," he remarked. Kumaraswamy, who has previously formed coalition governments with both the Congress and BJP, promised to provide better governance, free from corruption and scandals, if he is elected with a clear majority. He reaffirmed his ambition to serve as Chief Minister again, saying, "If I come to power, I will create opportunities for every family to earn Rs 10,000 per month, instead of the Rs 2,000 currently offered."
