
‘MevuMela’ event today to showcase innovations in dairy farming
NT Correspondent Bengaluru: A ‘MevuMela’ event focused on dairy activities will take place on October 25 at 10 am in the Veterinary College’s boys’ hostel grounds in Hebbal. Organised in collaboration with the Karnataka Veterinary, Animal, and Fisheries Sciences University, the Veterinary College in Hebbal, and the South Zone of the Indian Dairy Association, the inauguration will be led by K.C. Veeranna, Vice-Chancellor of Bidar Veterinary University. The programme aims to unite farmers, dairy producers, and experts to discuss advancements in dairy farming and veterinary care.
Attendees can explore exhibits showcasing the latest technologies and products, along with informative sessions to enhance skills. Guests include M.K. Jagadeesh, Managing Director of the Karnataka Milk Federation, Dr Venkatasubramanian, Director of ICAR-ATARI and Roopa, Commissioner of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services. The event also includes interactive workshops on modern dairy farming techniques, encouraging collaboration and innovation within the sector.
