Lokayukta summons CM Siddu in Muda case tomorrow

Lokayukta officials of Mysuru have issued summons to Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to appear before the Lokayukta SP in in connection with the Muda scam on November 6 at 10.30 am to give evidence. Lokayukta Superintendent of Police TJ Udesh, who is probing the alleged scam, confirmed this. He said that he had asked the CM to appear in person at his office.
Based on court directions, the Lokayukta SP has registered an FIR against the CM and three other accused in the 50: 50 site allotment scam at the Mysuru Urban Development Authority(Muda). The SP has already quizzed the other three accused named in the FIR including the CM's wife BM Parvathi, her brother Mallikarjunaswamy and land owner A Devaraju. As the Special Court of Peoples of Representative has set December end as the deadline to conduct the investigation into the alleged irregularities, the Lokayukta has intensified the investigation.
CM says he will appear before Lokayukta; Replying to the Lokayuta summons to him regarding the Muda scam, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah who participated in a Shiggaon bypoll rally at Savanur taluk on Monday, said he will appear before the Lokayukta SP at his office in Mysuru on November 6. But the CM refused to comment about the notice issued to him.
