Arrest made in laptop and mobile burglary case

A man was arrested for stealing laptops and mobile phones, leading to the recovery of 16 laptops, four mobile phones, and an iPad, valued at approximately Rs 10 lakh. The incident occurred in a PG accommodation under Bellandur police statin limits. On October 28, a resident reported a theft, stating that an unknown individual entered his room while he was asleep on the night of October 27. Upon waking, he discovered that three laptops and an iPad had been taken from his table. Police registered a theft case following the complaint.

During their investigation, officers patrolled the Bellandur area spotted a suspicious individual exiting a PG in Bhoganahalli village. Upon questioning, the suspect confessed to the theft and admitted to stealing laptops and mobile phones from various locations in the city. On the same day, police seized the 16 laptops, an iPad, and four mobile phones from a PG in KR Puram, where the suspect resided, totaling Rs 10 lakh in stolen goods. His arrest also connected him to additional theft cases at Bellandur and Bandepalya police stations.
