B'luru influencer allegedly molested on street by 10-year-old boy

A Bengaluru-based influencer, Neha Biswal has claimed that she was molested by a 10-year-old boy while she was recording a video blog on Tuesday. The incident, which was reportedly captured on camera, occurred in BTM Layout as she was walking back from work. Visibly upset, Biswal shared her ordeal on Instagram, recounting how the boy initially teased her before committing the act. Despite being caught by locals, many urged her to forgive the child, citing his age. However, Biswal refused to let the matter go unnoticed. She confronted the boy and even physically retaliated, with the support of some local residents. She also shared the video evidence on social media, which helped garner public attention and police intervention.

While Biswal chose not to file an FIR, the Bengaluru Police have taken cognisance of the incident and apprehended the 10-yearold boy. Authorities are investigating the matter further, reviewing CCTV footage to gather more details. DCP South Sarah Fatima confirmed the arrest and stated that the boy claimed the incident was accidental. However, the police are considering all aspects of the case, including potential charges. Biswal, despite the experience, expressed gratitude for the support she received from the police. She emphasised the importance of speaking out and seeking justice, even in cases involving minors.
