On Thursday, Chief Commissioner Tushar Girinath conducted a detailed review of several ongoing development projects in the Rajarajeshwari Nagar (RR Nagar) zone, under the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP). As part of the "Chief Commissioner’s Walk-through" programme, he visited key areas to assess progress and ensure timely completion. One of the major inspections was the white topping work on MEI Road in Yeshwanthpur. The project, covering a 950-meter stretch, was initiated with permission from the Traffic Police Department. The roadwork includes water drainage installation, sanitary lines, ducts, and pedestrian pathways. Girinath urged officials to expedite the work and submit weekly progress reports, emphasising the need to complete it on schedule. Another critical inspection was at the Subbannahalli Street Dog Sterilisation Center, where renovations are underway.

The centre, which previously sterilised 50 dogs at a time, will soon accommodate 80. Officials were instructed to complete the upgrade within a month. Additionally, a separate facility for treating street dogs recovering from Canine Distemper was reviewed, with instructions for proper management. Girinath also visited the Laggere Assistant Revenue Officer’s office, where he informed the public about the ease of obtaining an e-Khata for quick property transactions. He reviewed the help desk setup and suggested installing clear informational signage for citizens' convenience.
