Special trains to ply between Bihar, Bengaluru

South Western Railway (SWR) has introduced special trains between cities in Bihar and Bengaluru with one of the intentions being ferrying back passengers who had gone to their hometowns on the occasion of Deepavali. The first train will be between Bengaluru and Muzaffarpur with a single trip in each direction. The train will leave Yesvantpur station at 7:30 am on Wednesday and reach Muzaffarpur at 9:45 am on Friday. In the return direction, the train will leave Muzaffarpur at 10:45 am on Saturday and reach Yesvantpur at 10:50 am on Monday. The other train will ply between Bengaluru and Danapur near Patna for two trips in either direction.

The train will leave Yesvantpur station at 7:30 am on Thursday and November 21 and reach Danapur at 6 am on Saturdays. In the return direction, the train will leave Danapur at 8 am on Sunday and November 24 and reach Yesvantpur at 10:30 am on Tuesdays. SWR has requested passengers to check the official railway website www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or use the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app.
