The Bommanahalli police have arrested two accused, including a son along with his accomplice, who brutally killed his mother for money from the sale of a house. The deceased is Jayamma (45) and the arrested is her elder son Umesh and another person. The incident took place on Saturday at Hongasandra in Bommanahalli. Jayamma's younger son Girish is a driver in Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC). Jeyamma had thrown Umesh out of the house saying he was always quarreling with her younger son. The accused Umesh, who was harassing her for the money from the house sale, came to the house last Friday night and killed her when she was alone, allegedly with the assistance of his friend. On Saturday morning, Girish's friend Prabhakar Reddy knocked on the door, but Jayamma did not respond. Later, they found Jayamma lying in a pool of blood.
