Young woman stabbed to death in Indira Nagar

A young woman was stabbed to death in an apartment in Indira Nagar. The deceased, Maya Gogoi, a native of Assam, worked in a private company in Bengaluru and lived in HSR Layout. On November 23, Maya and her boyfriend, Aarav Harni, were at the apartment in Indira Nagar, police sources said. CCTV footage captured Aarav leaving the apartment after booking a cab Tuesday morning. The murder came to light when the hotel staff noticed something wrong and informed the police. On receiving information, Indira Nagar police visited the scene and began an investigation. The reason for the killing is yet to be ascertained. CCTV footage shows both Maya and Aarav entering the apartment, and no evidence of any other person entering has been found, the police said. Preliminary investigations suggest that Aarav Harni is the prime suspect.
