Only 21,000 eKhatas downloaded out of 6 lakh draft downloads: BBMP

In order to further streamline the process of obtaining digitzed property documents, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) will soon have additional assistant revenue officers deployed at every ward, city chief commissioner Tushar Girinath told on Monday. As of monday, 72.96 lakh visits to the website have been recorded. However only 6 lakh draft eKhatas out of around 22 lakh properties have been downloaded, out of which 21369 have downloaded their final eKhatas.

“Around 14,000 eKhatas are held over at the Assistant Revenue Offices (ARO) due to documentation issues. That will be cleared by the end of the week,” Girinath added. The first Revenue Adalats is set to kickoff this Wednesday, as Nodal officers are directed to heed to public grievances from 10 am to 2 pm.

BBMP Chief’s Public grievance meet postponed: Due to unavoidable meetings with government officials throughout the day on Tuesday, BBMP Chief Tushar Girinath’s zonewise public grievance meet will be postponed to Wednesday, December 4 between 3pm to 5pm. The meeting was originally scheduled to meet citizens residing in the East zone of the city.
