Power interruption scheduled in Indiranagar, Halasur today

Bengaluru residents in parts of Indiranagar, Halasur, and nearby areas will face a power supply interruption today, December 7, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The outage is due to maintenance work by KPTCL at the 66/11KV NGEF MUSS substation, which includes overhauling a transformer, quarterly maintenance, addressing hotspots, and bus and switchgear servicing.

The affected areas include SMVB Railway Station, HAL 2nd Stage, Old Madras Road, CV Raman Nagar, Kasturinagar, MG Road, Cambridge Layout and surrounding areas like Pai Layout, BDA Complex and Defence Colony. Residents in these localities are advised to plan accordingly during the power cut period. KPTCL has assured that maintenance is essential to ensure an uninterrupted power supply in the future.
