
BDA recovers 3.5 acres of prime land

Days after reclaiming 2 acres of land in Bheemanakuppe village, the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) has identified additional illegal structures on its land, measuring 3 acres and 20 guntas, valued at around Rs 65 crore.
The encroachments, including unauthorised nurseries and sheds, have sprung up on Survey Number 73 of Bheemanakuppe village in Kengeri Hobli, Bangalore South Taluk. The land parcels were originally earmarked for the Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Layout. The demolition drive was conducted by the BDA Task Force under the supervision of the Executive Engineer, Nadaprabhu Kempegowda Division, with active support from the police.
