Moily, DK, Siddu named in FIR

Bengaluru/Kanakapura: KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar, Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah, Bengaluru Rural MP D.K. Suresh and former Union Minister M.Veerappa Moily have been named Accused Number1 to 4 in the First Information Report (FIR) filed by Sathanur Police against Congress leaders for allegedly violating prohibitory orders imposed on Ramanagar district on Sunday.
The police have named 30 persons in the FIR who include Rajya Sabha Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge, Dr G. Parameshwar, H.K. Patil, Eshwar Khandre, Umashree, R Ramalinga Reddy, S. Ravi, T.B. Jayachandra, H.M. Revanna, Salim Ahmed, N.A.Haris, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Vinay Kulkarni, Priyank Kharge, Soumya Reddy, U.T. Khader, Motamma, M.B.Patil, Jayamala and two Sand a lwo o d artists, Duniya Vijay and Sadhu Kokila for participating in the Mekedatu padayatra violating Sec 144 of the CrPc.
On Saturday, Superintendent of Police Girish had warned that cases would be booked against those who violate the curfew orders.
