BG National Public School celebrates Sports day

Bengaluru: BG National Public School in Jakkur Layout hosted its grand annual sports day, "SportsThon 2024," with great enthusiasm. The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Captain Ajit Kumar, AV Girish, Deputy superintendent of the Excise Department, and other dignitaries. Addressing the gathering, Captain Ajit Kumar praised the school for its holistic approach to education, where academics, sports, and cultural activities go hand in hand.

"The school not only focuses on academic excellence but also dedicates significant time to sports, shaping well-rounded individuals," he said. AV Girish emphasised the importance of values alongside education, stating, "No matter how high the degree, good values must come from teachers. Education and values are equally important." School Secretary MB Lingaraju highlighted the institution’s dedication to fostering sports. Principal Shamant Lingaraju also attended the event.
