Jobseekers flock to Mega Job Fair with 20K vacancies

Bengaluru: Over 1,500 jobseekers found themselves excitedly considering their next potential workplace as more than 130 companies offered 20,000 vacancies at a two-day "Mega Job Fair" in Austin Town on Tuesday. The fair is part of Shanthinagar MLA NA Haris’s "Humanity Festival" and is conducted in collaboration with the Karnataka Skill Development Corporation. Companies from various sectors participated, seeking to fill numerous positions.

The event began at 10 am at the Nandan football ground and quickly became bustling with activity. The fair concludes at 5 pm on Wednesday. Jobseekers can seize this opportunity by registering through the Karnataka Skill Connect Online Portal or offline at the registration booths at the venue. Top companies like Bajaj Allianz, ICICI Lombard, Zomato, Apollo Pharmacies, and Muthoot Finances are among the recruiters. The qualifications sought range from those below an SSLC certificate to holders of PUC, undergraduate degrees, B.Tech, and M.Tech.
