Bengaluru: Bengaluru FC Head Coach Gerard Zaragoza said that his side’s focus is on reclaiming second place on the Indian Super League table with a win when his side takes on Hyderabad FC, in Hyderabad, on Saturday. The Spaniard returns to the touchline after serving a suspension in the Blues’ 1-0 defeat to Mohammedan Sporting last time out, their first home defeat of the season. “We looked more into the mental side rather than the physical and tactical sides after our last defeat,” he said. Assessing his opponents on whom he coached a 3-0 win at the reverse fixture, he said.
“Hyderabad FC are a team that plays with zero pressure and are one of the better teams with the ball. I believe in my starting 11 and bench, the idea is to take the three points home,” said Zaragoza. With one win from their last four fixtures, The Blues find themselves level on points with Jamshedpur FC and FC Goa at 27, as Mohun Bagan Supergiants look to run away with the shield.
“If they’re not stopped, they will become champions. The most important thing is to come to the last four games with a chance at the shield. But we’re only thinking about Saturday’s game at Hyderabad, game-by-game,” he said.
