Rs 1 cr accident insurance for KSRTC employees

Bengaluru: The Minister for Transport and Muzrai, Ramalinga Reddy, presided over an agreement signing between Kalyana Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (KKRTC) and the State Bank of India (SBI) on Tuesday. The event was attended by KKRTC Managing Director M. Rachappa and SBI Divisional General Manager Shri Manoj Kumar Toppo.
As part of the agreement, KKRTC employees will receive premium-free accident insurance coverage of Rs 1 crore under the "Corporate Salary Package." This comprehensive scheme also includes Rs 6 lakh term insurance for natural death, among other benefits. KKRTC Managing Director M. Rachappa highlighted the corporation's commitment to employee welfare, emphasising that 13,150 employees with salary accounts in SBI are eligible for this insurance.
