
28-yr-old drug-addicted youth dies by suicide in PG accommodation

Bengaluru: A tragic incident unfolded in K. Narayanpura under Kothanur Police Station limits, where a drug-addicted youth took his own life. Sunil (28), a resident of Yesvantpur, had developed a drug addiction and was reportedly stealing gold and money from his home.
When confronted by his family, he threatened to kill himself. He later moved out and had been staying in a PG in Kothanur while working in a garage. On the night of 7 March, Sunil sent a message to the PG owner stating that he was dying. He then died by suicide, hanging himself from the ceiling fan in his room. The police registered a case of unnatural death on a complaint filed by the PG owner.
