Couple performs dangerous stunts on road, sparks public ire
Bengaluru, NT Bureau
Amid a rigorous crack- down by traffic police on wheelies and stunts on city roads, a couple executed a stunt on a scooter on a major thoroughfare, igniting public outrage. As the video has gained widespread attention, citizens are calling for action against the couple, who not only disregarded regulations but also posed a significant safety risk to other road users.
The couple performed their stunt on a scooter on the road leading to the Kannika Parameshwari Temple in JP Nagar, adopting a Romeo and Juliet pose on the bike. The young woman was positioned at the front of the scooter while the man was seated at the back. The woman extended her arms and bowed as they rode, and astonishingly, they navigated the scooter with their eyes closed. The public is appalled by the reckless behaviour of the duo. Other riders travelling on the same road have expressed their concerns.
Many are insisting that strict action be taken against the couple. Merely imposing a fine is deemed insufficient, as they may have already paid fines in the past. There are also calls for the revocation of their licenses and the imposition of stringent penalties.
