A high-profile financial fraud has surfaced in the city, where the owners of the renowned Perimeter Salon chain have been accused of duping wealthy women customers to the tune of Rs 50 crore.

According to police sources, the accused identified as Raksha Harikaal Salva, Sunit Mehta and a man named Tiwari allegedly targeted affluent women visiting their salons across Karnataka.

They reportedly convinced customers to invest between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 50 lakh with the promise of high returns through a scheme promoted as an exclusive business opportunity.

The victims claimed they were lured with the promise of high profits and early returns. However, after the initial phase, no financial gains were delivered. When investors began raising concerns, the salon owners allegedly avoided communication, leading many to suspect foul play. FIRs have been registered at multiple police stations, including Govindarajanagar, Talaghattapura and the Central Crime Branch (CCB).

Preliminary investigations suggest the total amount defrauded could exceed Rs 50 crore. Authorities are currently examining bank transactions, investment proposals and communication records to build the case.

Police have begun questioning the suspects and are collecting testimonies from complainants. The case is expected to widen as more victims come forward. Further investigation is under-way.
