CM’s political secretary post not charming: Renukacharya

Bengaluru: The post of Chief Minister’s Political Secretary is nothing but ‘a table, chamber and a chair’, opined Honnali BJP MLA and the CM’s Political Secretary, M.P. Renukacharya.

Talking to reporters here on Friday, he indirectly expressed his unhappiness over not being considered for a minister’s post for which he had been waiting for the last four years. Commenting on the Congress padayatra, the MLA said the postponement of the yatra has shattered the dreams of both KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar and Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah of becoming CM. More than safeguarding public interest, the duo was interested in the CM gaddi and the halt of the yatra has left them disappointed, he said.

It may be mentioned here that Renukacharya had served as Excise Minister in the Yediyurappa Government in 2018.
