Mysuru cops file FIR against 26 Congmen who met in city before joining Mekedatu rally

Mysuru: Lashkar police of Mysuru city have filed a FIR against 26 Congress leaders of Mysuru district who had converged at Gandhi square in Mysuru city on January 11 before they left in their vehicles to join the Mekedatu Padayathra organised by the Congress party. The police have filed a FIR against them for not wearing masks, not following social distancing and violating covid guidelines. They have filed the FIR against Hunsur MLA Mr H P Manjunath, former MLAs Mr Vasu, Kalale Keshavamurthy, former MLC Mr Dharmasena, Mysuru district Congress president Mr B J Vijaykumar, Congress leader Mr Srinath Babu and others.
