From grief to growth: Bengaluru creator Bhavya Vignesh on manifesting her dreams
Bengaluru
Bhavya Vignesh, better known as @soulgirl_official on Instagram, is a content creator who radiates positivity from her creative corner in Bengaluru. In an exclusive interview with News Trail, she opens up about her transformation from a commerce student to a full-time content creator, entrepreneur and voice-over artiste. A storyteller at heart, she weaves together the worlds of manifestation, self-growth, self-reflection and soulful living, inviting her audience to pause, reflect and evolve.
Through her signature themes — from the transformative Magic Book practice to heartfelt relationship insights and glimpses into her everyday life — Bhavya creates a digital sanctuary of inspiration. With over 1.6 lakh followers across Instagram and YouTube, she continues to build a mindful community that believes in the power of growth and gratitude. Beyond her digital presence, she channels her thoughts through journaling and lifestyle blogging, artfully blending introspection with creativity in everything she does.
Finding her path
“It has been four years since I started creating content,” said Bhavya, reflecting on her professional journey. After a brief stint in the IT industry, she left her job to run a restaurant business before eventually finding her calling online. In 2020, Bhavya faced a deeply personal loss — the passing of her mother. “It was a very dark time,” she recalls. “I decided to work on myself and focus on personal growth.” That period of introspection led her to start sharing her thoughts online.
“I began posting videos on TikTok without showing my face. I did the same on Instagram and only revealed my face when I reached one lakh followers,” she explains. Her videos, which speak about life’s challenges and offer fresh perspectives, resonate with thousands. “My purpose has always been to be a medium for people — to become their voice. Such content lets you connect heart to heart with your audience.”
The Magic Book
One of Bhavya’s most loved creations is the Magic Book — a manifestation technique she not only practises but passionately shares with her audience. The idea went viral, inspiring her to launch a dedicated manifestation journal titled Magic Book, in collaboration with Amsa of Unoriginal Thoughts, Namma Bengaluru.
“There were so many testimonials of people getting married, landing dream jobs and clearing exams because of this,” she said with pride. “Even the creation of the book itself was a manifestation — and so is this interview!” she added with a smile.
Venture into voice-over artistry
As Bhavya’s content gained traction, people began noticing her captivating voice. Encouraged by radio personalities RJ Pradeep and RJ Nethra, she explored opportunities in the audio space. “They wanted me to become a radio jockey, but I chose voice-over work instead — and it worked out beautifully,” she said.
Her voice soon caught the attention of a film director, leading to her first project as a voice artiste in Ramana Avatara. Since then, she has lent her voice to web series and major projects with Amazon Prime, completing over a dozen assignments. “I never thought I would be a voice artiste,” Bhavya admitted with a laugh.
Building a safe space online
Today, Bhavya’s community is made up largely of women — 60 to 70% of her audience. “People are the reason I continue creating and stay motivated,” she said. Her platforms have become safe spaces for open conversations around mental health and emotional expression.
“I’ve spoken about personal family issues in my videos to encourage others to talk about what they usually keep inside,” she detailed. For Bhavya, mental health is not just a topic — she believes it will soon become a major content niche as audiences move towards more meaningful narratives beyond lifestyle and beauty.
Beyond the screen
Bhavya also reveals her lighter, humorous side through her husband’s account, embracing every facet of her personality. Looking ahead, she prefers not to set rigid professional targets. “Each year, my only goal is to be happier than the last,” she added.
