Bengaluru creator Sneha Shenoy turns everyday life into stories that click. In a landscape saturated with trends, Bengaluru-based content creator Sneha Shenoy stands out as a genuine storyteller with impeccable comedic timing. Speaking in Kannada and Konkani, she crafts narratives in her videos that go beyond simply entertaining – they resonate. Her stories draw from the realities of relationships, ambition and the hilariously awkward moments that accompany growing up.

More than a content creator, Sneha is a performance artist. Her sketches function as mini-masterpieces of observation, brought to life through sharp editing, expressive reactions and clean visual execution that make viewers laugh even as they find themselves nodding in recognition. Her loyal community of 1,56,000 Instagram followers is testament to the impact she is making – one reel at a time.

The spark
“I’ve always been drawn to creative activities and sports, especially table tennis and cricket. I played table tennis at the state level and represented my school and college in both sports. I naturally gravitated towards anything extracurricular,” Sneha shared in an exclusive conversation with News Trail, reflecting on her journey from sportsperson to Chartered Accountancy aspirant, and ultimately carving out a space for herself as a digital content creator and a full-time working professional.

She recalled her early steps into content creation, drawing particular inspiration from established creators such as MostlySane. Motivated by the content she admired, she recorded her first video in 2020 – a family skit in Hindi – which she shared with friends before posting on Instagram. She also used her platform to support people during the COVID-19 crisis by volunteering to help provide beds, oxygen and other essential resources.
“People should use their social media to give back to society.

That’s my way of doing it,” she said. As her content gained momentum online, it caught the attention of Radio City, and RJ Nethra reached out to offer her a role as a digital conceptualiser. “It’s funny because I’ve always been on the other side, as a host for a podcast on Radio City where I interviewed creators as well!” she said, laughing.

Connecting with region first
“My first video was the only time I posted in Hindi. After that, I started creating content in all four languages – Kannada, English, Konkani and Hindi,” she said, explaining that Kannada feels more natural and comfortable to speak. She added, “Konkani content is my way of bringing my mother tongue online.” Sneha also said she is delighted to see the growing presence of Konkani creators on digital platforms, helping to keep the language and culture alive.

Evolution of the hustle
Sneha shared that her videos on Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have received notable recognition. Creating sports content felt effortless, she said, because she has always been a genuine admirer of both cricket and the Bengaluru sporting culture. She added that she has been a fan of both RCB and Bengaluru Football Club (BFC) since their inception. “I haven’t discovered a specific niche yet, but I enjoy exploring different ideas,” she said, reflecting on how her creative journey has evolved from spontaneous recording sessions to a more structured process involving scripting and collaboration.

“Earlier, I would ideate, record and upload everything myself within 15 minutes. Now, I spend more time carefully scripting, editing and finalising the content,” she said, noting that she now has help with filming and editing. Alongside content creation, Sneha continues to work full-time in marketing at Dairy Day. “I plan everything in advance to maintain balance. I usually create and post on weekends, and even manage brand deals with tight deadlines during the week.”

Long ride ahead
Sneha hopes to explore YouTube in the near future. “I don’t have any set long-term goals, but I’m ready to embrace any opportunity that comes my way,” she said with optimism.
