Govt to take ‘wise decision’ on weekend curfew today: Ashok

Bengaluru: Ruling out any confusion at the government level over Corona curbs, Revenue Minister R.Ashok said a high-level meeting led by Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai will be held tomorrow (Friday) to take a suitable decision keeping all issues in mind.

Talking to reporters here on Thursday, he said the government would not take decisions keeping in mind only trade and business but would consider other aspects too. In fact, cases have increased in the USA and so have deaths. Such a situation should not happen in the state. Tomorrow’s meeting would carefully analyse everything and make a wise decision, he added.

The minister said BJP leaders and leaders of opposition parties have given their suggestions. The opinion of experts would also be considered.
