Rejig: Bommai passes the buck to BJP top brass

Bengaluru: Just hours before reshuffling the district in-charge ministers, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai on Monday said any decision on making appointments to state-run boards and corporations or filling up the four vacant cabinet berths would have to be made by the BJP top brass.
Responding to BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel’s statement that the appointments to boards and corporations could happen next week, the CM said as of now there was no new proposal before him. “The party leadership will submit a report and based on this report, action can be taken,” he said.
