Three proud daughters of Mysuru at Rajpath today

Mysuru: This will be one Wednesday tea stall owner Pratap Singh will never forget. His daughter, NCC Senior Under Officer Pramila Kunwar from the Karnataka and Goa directorate, will proudly lead 100 NCC cadets from 17 directorates from different states as the contigent commander at the Republic Day parade in Delhi’s Rajpath which will be witnessed by the whole nation.

Pratap Singh runs Sagar tea stall on Kalidasa road in Mysuru. Pramila who represents the 3rd Karnataka girls battalion, did her PUC at St Joseph’s first grade college at Jayalakshmipuram and is now doing her first year BSc course at Maharani’s science college for women in Mysuru. She had also served as a Corona warrior over the past two years in the district and told News Trail that she wants to be a fighter pilot.

It will also be a proud moment for NCC Senior Under Officer Suvarsha Gowda, daughter of a farmer and Sushmitha D P, daughter of a Hunsur town station head constable who will be part of the Republic Day parade.
