Dhruvanarayan: Why book us & spare BJP?

Mysuru: Congress working president Dhruvanarayan said the party has written to the chief secretary accusing the government of adopting double standards by filing cases against Congress leaders for the Mekedatu Padayatra and not initiating action against people who participated in the swearing-in ceremony of MLCs and in the fair at Honnali MLA Renukacharya’s constituency.

Mr Dhruvanarayan asserted that there is no internal conflict in the Congress. BJP leaders who are making such allegations must first resolve their own internal conflicts, he said.

Reacting to Congress leaders’ claim that BJP and JD (S) leaders are in touch with them, minister S T Somshekar, said, “instead of scaring people saying they have snakes in the basket, they must open it and the truth will be out.”
